Large Antique Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma Pottery Vase Circa 1900. The vase has raised hand painted enamel decoration with three figures, one female two male, in a landscape background. The same three figures are featured on both sides, each side being a different painting.
Between the paintings on both sides there is a ring and swag raised handle decoration. On the base is a three character hand painted mark.
In good original condition with some fine crazing here and there, some of it being paint crazing only. There is a visible crack running for about 7cm. You can see it but only feel it if you run your fingernail across it, it is barely visible on the outside. No other faults that I can find, no scratches or chips.
